What's your truck brand?
Ok So I know everyone has their preferences in what type of truck they drive. What is yours?
I personally am a Ford fan. I have had less trouble with that than anything else I have driven.

Gas engine: Ford. Diesel: Dodge(with the 6-speed manual) Chevys seemed to get cheap and cheesy startin around 2000. I had a 76 blazer that was fun, other than that all my old trucks that i miss dearly were fords. they've got character, they grow on you somehow. Of course I have to mention the 7.3 powerstroke is one heck of a powerplant though. Just cummins is better.
"I've always been crazy, but it keeps me from goin insane!"
Here is is! My dream truck and my unstoppable truck! Dodge Cummins - Early 2002, 1 Ton, 4 wheel drive, blue. I wouldn't take a new dodge if someone gave it to me though!
My beautiful lady that i drive every day is an 88 f-350 dually, truelly ameriacn and pure steel body takes enything that comes its way. i love the 460 in it cause it just flys past those expensive s.u.v things when i tow against them up hill! gotta love it
I drive a 1970 Ford F250 Farm & Ranch Special. Totally restored. It's now 40 yrs old, and better than any new truck.
May the wind be at your back, and the son of God meet you each morning
and may you be in a heaven 7 days before the devil even knows your there, lol. sorry had to add on to your old irish greeting
I have an 88 ford that moved my wife and I from Washington state back home to Texas. Absolutely no problem with the old girl whatsoever.
At the present I have an f-350 triton V-10 with a super cab. Just got it last year. Was looking for a towing rig to haul a 4 hrs. trlr with my mules and horses. I sure have no complaints. I haul them at least 800 miles a year from up here on the Mogollon Rim down to the border E of Yuma. I also have a C30 Chev Van with a 350 in it that I've mede this trip with several times and pulled all over the NW and from Wa. to Mexico with it. It don't get over the hills like the V-10 but has never let me down. When I'm running empty with the V-10 I average about 14mpg. Not great but well worth the sacrafice for the power.

When I was 14 my dad bought a 1929 Model 'A' pickup for my brother and I to share. It will be one of the fond memories that will stay with me forever. We could take that truck anywhere.
In the winter time we would add chains than tie a 100 foot rope to the back and haul kids on sleds all over town. Hunting season we would sit on the front fenders as dad drove us through the corn fields. Football season and the cheerleaders would pile on to make the parade through town.
When the rear end needed replacing dad put the differential on the wrong side and we had 3 gears in reverse and one forward. Had to do the thing all over again. My biggest regret was having to sale this pickup to move to California. We got $75.00 in an auction. There year - 1966.
I now have a Ford 450 with the triton V10. Of course there is a RV Funmover behind the power plant. This model has the lift gate so I can put my Harley Softail in the back... Have bike - will travel... Happy Ride to Everyone!!!
1987 Ford F350 4x4 quadcab with a 460ci. She's a monster and my daily driver. Its as American as you can get. They dont make 'em like they used to!
I drive an '07 Nissan Frontier; it's my third same-model and I'm happy with it. It has ample power under the hood, yet it's pretty darn fuel efficient. It's a crew-cab model and it has a factory applied bed liner along with a factory installed bed cover. I fit well in it, despite standing 6' 5". Good truck, indeed. I logged 152,000 on my previous,1999 Frontier.
If I were to pick another, different truck, I'd grab one of the new F150's or F250's from Ford. Good looking trucks with a good reliability record.
Well I like both Ford and Dodge but I've grown up with Ford so I absolutly have to be a Ford fan. Ford just rules and if I can't have a Ford I'll settle for a Dodge.

Ford trucks all the way, thats all i've owned and all i will ever own. If it doesn't have a blue oval i don't want it. Right now i have an 03 Ranger, but what i really want is a 96-97 f250 or 350 with the 7.3L deisel.
I have an '04 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 5.7 Hemi. I have pulled a 35 foot, 12,000 pound travel trailer all over the western US. The truck has 115,000 miles and not one bit of trouble.
When this one gets to trade-in time, it will be on another Dodge.
Ram Tough,,,,,lol
Hi Im a GM man got two of them a 78 chevy and a 97 GMC Z71 thats got over 200,000 miles on it so YEA im a GM man.
For a long time I was a Toyota Tundra driver. There just wasn't enough beef under the hood. Now I drive a 2006 Ford F250. Problem free so far but the 6.0 litre engine needs to be pampered (oil changes on time, etc.). I was once told to keep them running " drive it like you stole it".
Well now, I have had 2 Fords, 1 Dodge and 2 Chevys...currently I have my second Chevy. A 2004 4x4 with 72,000 on it. Of my trucks this one has had the least problems and has been the easiest to get in and out of. Especially after a hard days work.
My first truck as an 1971 International Harvester, my father a I put a Chevy 350 in it and was a dependable truck. I also had a 1986 F-150 with a 300, and had a 1984 with the same engine they also were good trucks ( the 84 I had in 2005-2006 it had 86,000 hard, and I mean HARD, miles). I also had a 1997 F-250 (old body) with the 7.3 powerstroke (the best diesel ford put in a truck) that was a good truck. But if I were to buy a new truck today it would have to be a Dodge with the Cummins diesel (the best diesel engine period)

I have a 1990 4x4 Dodge Cummins turbo diesel 250LE that just won't die. Though it's got well over 200k and an automatic transmission, it's still going strong. Load that sucker with 15 hay bales, and it'll get up and go! Gets 25 miles to the gallon, too.
