Sand is hauled in to keep the stock comfortable, whether they're exercising or working.

Starting at 7 am, the stock is turned out in shift in order to get exercise, get checked for injuries, or....nap.

There are some 500 stock animals held in the NFR stock pens.

Bulls are given their own 12'x24' pens. Compatible bulls are kept in 24'x24' or 24'x48' pens.

It takes three days just to set up all the pens.

Between noon and 2:30 pm, the animals are sorted and moved from the stock pens to the Thomas & Mack.
