INGREDIENTS

(Serves 4)

• 4 turkey legs

• 1 (2 liter) bottle lemon-lime flavored soda

• 2 Tbsp. sugar

• 2 Tbsp. hot sauce

• 1 Tbsp. black pepper

• 1 large sweet onion, sliced

• 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

• 1 Tbsp. oil

Dry Rub:

• 1 Tbsp. steak seasoning

• 1 Tbsp. chipotle seasoning

• 1 Tbsp. paprika

• 1 Tbsp. brown sugar

DIRECTIONS

1) Mix soda, sugar, hot sauce, and black pepper in a large pot. Bring to a low boil and add turkey legs. Boil over medium heat for 30 minutes then remove legs.

2) Combine Worcestershire sauce and oil. Rub well into the turkey legs. Liberally sprinkle the dry rub mixture over the skin, rubbing mix into the turkey legs and under the skin.

3) Preheat grill. Place onion slices on heated grill and turkey legs on top of the onion slices. Grill over medium heat for about 15 minutes, turning as needed. The skin should be crispy and brown when the turkey legs are done.
