LAS VEGAS – The Professional Bull Riders announced that MGM Grand Hotel & Casino will be the Official Host Hotel for the 2012 PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals on Oct. 24-28 at the Thomas & Mack Center. Home of the first five PBR World Finals, MGM Grand will be the Las Vegas home for the bull riders competing in the World Finals, PBR staff and guests, and PBR fans.

It was also announced that Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino will host the PBR Fan Zone and Marketplace for the ninth year. The PBR Fan Zone and Marketplace features five days of interactive exhibits, shopping, and live entertainment, including Flint Rasmussen’s “Outside the Barrel” show. The PBR Fan Zone will be located in the South Parking Lot at Mandalay Bay, and will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Oct. 23-26, and from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Oct. 27.
The Built Ford Tough World Finals are the richest bull riding event in the world, with a total purse of more than $2 million. The World Finals will feature the crowning of the PBR World Champion, who will receive the coveted championship buckle and a $1 million bonus.
The World Finals will be held Oct. 24-28 at the Thomas & Mack Center. Bull riding begins at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
