Sunday, November 9, gates open 9 a.m., Cowboy Breakfast served 10 a.m.; close 4 p.m.

Description:
Authentic 1880s chuck wagons from around the Southwest compete to cook up the best meals fit for the trail. Wagon teams win prizes in various food categories, and the public can purchase chuck wagon meals. This family friendly culinary event includes historical demonstrations, entertainment, campfire glows, vendor booths and more.

Friday: Meet chuck wagon teams, watch cooking demonstrations, and gather for an evening Campfire Glow with cowboy storytelling, singing and s’mores.

Saturday: Chuck Wagon lunch for $12. Performances by internationally acclaimed musicians Pioneer Pepper & the Sunset Pioneers, gun-fight reenactments, historic demonstrations, hands-on activities, wagon rides to the Arizona Railway Museum, and Campfire Glow in the evening.

Sunday: Cowboy Breakfast for $10, salute to veterans by the Buffalo Soldiers of AZ Territory, Youth Cook-Off, cowboy music, and cooking demonstrations by TV celebrity Jan D’Atri.

Hosted by the Chandler Museum and Pardners of Tumbleweed Ranch, a 501c3 entity. Funds raised help develop educational outreach opportunities at Tumbleweed Ranch.
