After proving to be an engaging and entertaining rodeo event for its fans, the CINCH Boyd Gaming Chute-Out is returning to the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas for its second season this Dec. 8–10, 2016, and promises to be bigger and better than ever!

Held each afternoon (which means no time conflicts for those attending the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in the evenings), rodeo fans can get their fill of the action from 64 past, present, and future champion contestants such as five-time world champion steer wrestler Luke Branquinho; team ropers Jade Corkill, Joe Beaver, and Derek Begay; along with saddle bronc riders Chad Ferley and $1 million RFD-TV The American winner, Wade Sundell. Contestants will be roping and riding top stock, in all the favorite rodeo events: bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing, and bull riding. Legendary rodeo announcers Bob Tallman and Roger Mooney will emcee.

Last December, athletes like CFR champion and NFR-qualifier Jake Vold racked up a sizzling 94 points for the win in the bareback riding, while the barrel queen from New Zealand and WPRA-cowgirl Carmel Wright covered the clover in just 15.26 seconds. They shared the arena with world champions like tie-down ropers Cody Ohl and Fred Whitfield, bull rider J.W. Harris, and saddle bronc rider Cody Wright, making for an on-the-edge-of-your-seat competition.

The sudden-death chute-out format makes for an exciting it’s-anyone’s-game spectator experience. Each afternoon, cowboys and cowgirls will compete in three rounds, culminating when the two highest-scoring contestants of each event will battle it out to be crowned Chute-Out champions.

It’s the ultimate rodeo fan experience! Affordable prices for seats in the intimate Orleans Arena—where every seat’s a good seat—mean even more rodeo fans will have the opportunity to get close to high-octane arena action. And at the meet-and-greet following each night’s performance, you’ll have the opportunity to shake hands and visit with the sport’s biggest names and most talented newcomers.

In conjunction with the event itself, Boyd Gaming also unveiled the Boyd Gaming Chute-Out App, which gives rodeo fans increased mobile engagement through real-time interaction with rodeo cowboys and cowgirls, live scoring, and exclusive, behind-the-scenes video. Available in app stores for both iPhones and Androids, fans will hear it first from rodeo ambassadors like Don Gay, Shane Hanchey, and Joe Frost; have access to the first-ever electronic day-sheet; get in-the-know information on offers from local hotels, restaurants, and entertainment venues; and can share their own Chute-Out experience when they tag their on-the-scene photos with #RidinForTheFans! Consider this the in-hand, VIP pass to three days of rodeo during the Las Vegas Rodeo Week!

Event enhancements and developments are occurring endlessly as CINCH Boyd Gaming Chute-Out ramps up for a thrilling 2016 rodeo, so fans should visit BoydGamingEvents.com for the most up-to-date information on all things Chute-Out. Tickets for the event—along with hotel packages—start at $30 and are also available on the website.
