I learned about an inspiring new documentary at the annual WESA (Western & English Sales Association) trade show in Denver over the weekend. It’s called Code of the West: Alive & Well in Wyoming and is produced by James Owen, author of Cowboy Ethics: What Wall Street Can Learn from the Code of the West (Stoecklein Publishing, 2005).

It’s a film about Wyoming and how cowboys have something to teach us all. I can’t wait to see it, and I think American Cowboy readers should know about it. Check out the heart-warming trailer here: www.vimeo.com/7931683

Much of the action takes place in Wyoming, and the Center for Cowboy Ethics and Leadership, the Daniels Fund, McMurry Foundation, Phil Anschutz, Trihydro Corporation, University of Wyoming College of Business, and Wyoming Business Council helped support the project.

I’ll keep you posted about the TBD plans for distribution.
